HEALTHY BODIES MAKE HEALTHY MINDS

Whole Foods Market West Hollywood Actively Supports Small Nonprofit in the Heart of Hollywood and Continues Looking for New Ways to Help

Hollywood, CA -  On Saturday, August 15, 11-2pm, Whole Foods Market West Hollywood, on the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax, will be hosting a BBQ and Art Show for a one-of-a-kind educational facility school that uses arts, music and media-based classes to help homeless and foster care young people prepare for successful futures.

This isn’t the first time Whole Foods Market West Hollywood has been active with Hollywood Arts. After catering Hollywood Arts first Christmas dinner, Pam Lee, Marketing Supervisor at Whole Foods Market West Hollywood location, knew how she wanted to help.

"I feel that our partnership with Hollywood Arts is a perfect example of our core values in action ‘caring about our communities and environment’”’ says Lee. “Hollywood Arts is giving young adults a chance to have a positive role in the community that they wouldn't have had otherwise and we're so happy to provide the fuel for their education and creativity."

Now, after five months of providing healthy snacks such as vegetables, fruit, breakfast bars, crackers, and water to Hollywood Arts students, Whole Foods Market continues to find new ways of support. The BBQ/Art Show will feature music written and composed by Hollywood Arts music students along with booths displaying the artwork of local artists.
