News from Hollywood Arts: Hollywood helps Hollywood Arts
September 2006

Dear Friend of Hollywood Arts,

After a long, hot August, we are excited to enter the fall and see the fruits of our labor pay off! In the next few months we are starting several very exciting programs.... Plus we get to invite you to the first Hollywood Arts theater performance!

Check out the events page for the most current listings. In September we celebrate Cocktails for a Cause. In October we perform our version of Four Brothers. And in November we invite local musicians to help us formally welcome our weekly drum circles to Hollywood.

Thank you as always for your support and as our friends at Four Brothers like to say: "Do it for Evelyn."

Writers of the hit movie Four Brothers (pictured here from left to right: Paul Lovett, Executive Producer Erik Howsman and David Elliot) are excited to be a part of the theater program at Hollywood Arts.

Theater students are also excited! Says one student: I liked the movie because its theme is that family is the most important thing we have, even a family that is not related to each other...we look out for each other.

My name is James. I took this picture with a disposable camera that Hollywood Arts gave me for my birthday. I had fun taking pictures of Hollywood! I took a lot of pictures of things that inspire me. For example, this star. Plus I really like the way my shadow falls across the star. I would like to learn more about photography. I think I'd like to open a transitional living home.
